A longitudinal study was carried out in order to make a comparative analysis of the results obtained by using the stabilization methods of Steiman's neil and Foley's probe in 60 patients with zygomatic fracture. The highest therapeutic efficiency was attained with the Steiman's nail as regards the indexes of complications and rehabilitation, which gave rise to a lower socioeconomic institution-patient affectation, compared with the method of Foley's probe. The latter proved to be a more universal procedure, on adapting to a greater diversity of fractures. Besides, it allows to make postoperative readjustments and enables the exploration, diagnosis, and treatment of the orbital floor fractures.Downloads
