Mobile applications for dentistry use

Introduction: the use of mobile technologies to support the achievement of health goals has the potential to influence and transform the provision of services globally. Objective: to reflect on the usefulness of applications for mobile devices in dentistry branches. Key Comments: mobile apps have many advantages: they are constantly accessible, can be tailored to user needs, can provide personalized feedback, and are more anonymous than face-to-face contact, can send reminders, and have a wide reach and interactive features. Global considerations: the usefulness of applications for mobile devices in dentistry branches is undeniable. This technological variant has established itself as a valuable weapon within mobile health services in areas such as health promotion and prevention, information to patients, communication between professionals and the diagnosis of pathological entities. The search for quality in the mobile applications that are created and incorporated into the practice of the profession is a necessity to enhance the benefits they offer.Downloads
