Abstract

Topic to be presented: Main scientific activities of the Cuban Society of Dentistry in the year 2019

Objective: Present the activities carried out by the Society in the areas of scientific update and professional practice improvement.

Main remarks: A description is provided of the topics dealt with, their presenters and the contributions of each activity. Reference is also made to the results of the election held at the Cuban Society of Dental Sciences.

General considerations: The activities carried out reaffirmed the need for continued scientific development of the profession, with a view to offering a service of excellence aimed at achieving oral health for all and for the wellbeing of all.
