Increase of the atrophic mandibular ridge with porous hydroxyapatite

A prospective study aimed at evaluating the increase of the atrophic mandibular ridge with porous hydroxyapatite of national production was carried out in 2 patients who had stopped using the lower total prosthesis due to lack of stability. The technique is evaluated as well as the clinical and radiographic evolution of the implant until the year of placement; excellent results are verified as a biological response to the material. The instability of the prosthesis and the discomfort of the patients, disappeared, reason why it is considered that new horizons open with the use of this material in this type of affection.Downloads
