Abstract

Maxillary osteogenic myxoma is a rare tumor, so the presentation of a new case is considered interesting. A literature review was made. Here is the report of the case of a male patient diagnosed with this type of myxoma from clinical, imaging and histological viewpoints at "Manuel Ascunce" teaching clinical-surgical hospital in Camaguey province. He was operated on. Diagnostic and therapeutical explanations provided by literature were given. At the moment of the report, the patient had recovered and was still under medical control.
