Abstract

Between the 24th and the 28th of November, the event "Vision of Oral Health, IV National Symposium" took place. The presimposio courses and the event in question were held at the headquarters of the National Council of the Scientific Societies of Health, and the Martian Studies Center, both located in the neighborhood of El Vedado, in the city of Havana.

Dr.C. Estela Gispert Abreu, president of the Cuban Society of Stomatology, its vice president, the MSc. Dr. Jorge Luis Bécquer Águila, MSc. Dr. Mirtha Herrera Nordet, honorary member of this Society, MSc. Dr. Josefa Miranda Tarragó, director of the Cuban Journal of Stomatology, and Dr.C. Pastor Castell-Florit Serrate, director of the National School of Public Health, presided over the event.

The members of the Governing Board of the Society were also found on the Organizing Committee: MSc. Dr, Ricardo Rodríguez Llanes, MSc. Dr. María E. Fernández Collazo, MSc. Dra. Teresa Rodríguez Machado, MSc. Dr. Tania Jiménez Echemendía, and MSc. Dr. Lourdes Hernández Cuétara.

All of them, together with other outstanding professors such as: the MSc. Denia Morales Navarro, the MSc. Dr. Lourdes Clemencia Fernández Ramírez, Dr.C. Dadonim Vila Morales, Dr.C. Héctor Bayarre Vea, the MSc. Lic. Guillermo Díaz Llanes, the MSc. Dr. Gilda García Heredia, MSc. Lic. Maria Carmen Rim, the MSc. Lic. Lidia Caridad Hernández Gómez, Dr.C. Amparo Pérez Borrego, MSc. Dr. Tatiana Peña Ruíz, MSc. Josefina Fajardo Puig, the MSc. Dr. Michel Rojo Toledano, and the MSc. Dr. Agustín Rodríguez Soto, gave interesting lectures.
