A bibliography revisal on features of the preprosthetic surgical therapeutics was carried out, and some of its considerations and indications are communicated, as well as the practical measures that must be taken in mind by the prosthesis technician and the surgeon; among those measures, it is required to have a close relation in the management project. The procedures are exposed, and it is concluded that many prosthesis that cause annoyances, could turn out to be more comfortable and functional, if surgical modifications would be performed, in order to improve their usage.Downloads
