Abstract

The case of a female patient aged 48 years with a history of allergy to dental anesthesia and interested in restoring her aesthetic image by using a fixed denture. It was decided to administer acupunctural anesthesia to prepare the pillars to receive the fixed bridge. The techniques and the results were described. There were no adverse reactions, and the patient recovered satisfactorily after the alternative treatment.
