Abstract

We present a case of a 72-year-old female patient with a history of allergies to dental anesthesia and a concern to rehabilitate her aesthetic with a fixed prosthesis. It was decided to apply acupuncture anesthesia in the preparation of the pillars to receive the fixed bridge. The techniques and results obtained are exposed. No adverse reactions were expressed. The patient progressed satisfactorily with the alternative treatment performed.
