Abstract

Ismael Clark was a simple soldier of the Revolution, who spent little time in it; He was not a dentist at that time, but his activity in favor of the aggrandizement of the profession deserves the honor of being in the relationship of the dentists who fought for the freedom of the Homeland against the Spanish metropolis. He was born on April 21, 1976, in the ultramarine town of Regla. In that town he made his first studies, until he went to the Seminary of San Carlos and San Ambrosio in Havana to study the ecclesiastical career and enter the study of Greek and Latin.
