Abstract

Stomatologists are exposed to risks of acquire diseases through contact with patients carriers of infectious diseases communicable by blood or by aerosols, including VIH and hepatitis B in addition to manipulation of potentially toxic substances by technical staff. There are guidelines and regulations to risk preservation requiring an updating and the creation of biosafety structure in stomatological assistance network warranting execution of biosafety in dental office of the country.
