Abstract
The Cuban Journal of Stomatology, in its informative work, has managed to become the first and most important of its kind for Cuban stomatologists, through the publication of scientific articles of different profiles and specialties. At present, important transformations are being carried out in the Stomatology Faculty of the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, the national methodological guiding institution of stomatological teaching. These changes, referring mainly to the updating of the program of studies of the career, have been running since 1991, as is the case of the introduction of the program for the training of the specialist in General Comprehensive Stomatology, which enables the discharge of professionals that our National Health System requires and allows, in a general sense, the scientific-technical updating of all the general stomatologists and specialists of our country. We are pleased to present a work done by the group of authors of the Department of Stomatology of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Cienfuegos, entitled "Manual of antimicrobial therapy in stomatology: update topics", which is of great interest in Pharmacology and Therapeutics for professionals undergraduate and graduate; At the same time, it means a change in the usual strategy of the magazine that allows us to broaden our information horizon and please the interests of a greater number of readers.Downloads
