Abstract

We describe the case of a 12-year-old boy with the BeckwithWiedemann syndrome, whose relevant sign was macroglossia, a pathological entity that can severely modify the development of the teeth, of the facial skeleton and cause obstruction of the respiratory tract. He was treated with satisfactory results by partial glossectomy. It details the surgical technique and it is reported that he did not present any omplication. The patient continues perfectly at present.
