Need to disseminate studies aimed at solving current dental science problems
Abstract
The seven major problems facing science, posed by a survey of 270 research scientists through a specialized journal, dictate that scientists are "forced" to make great discoveries, many studies are poorly designed, revalidation of studies is very Uncommon, peer review sometimes fails, access to some articles is expensive, science can be transmitted erroneously and the life of a young researcher is very stressful.Everyday we face the conflict between theory and practice, and in stomatological science is very palpable, because the technological revolution of the last two decades and the constant emergence of materials, medicines and therapies have led the stomatological union to the consumption of many investigations. But are there really studies that answer the questions of our local stomatological problems?
The universities and professors demand from their professors the presentation of research to increase, obviously, the prestige and sometimes it is not taken into account that the research does not respond to questions, conflicts and local problems that affect in one way or another the quality of the performance of dental care. The repetition of research on situations that have been known for more than a century, the unnecessary observation of topics of which we know how they will behave, conflicts of interest and the lack of trials that provide new and timely trends are weaknesses that must be addressed. be corrected
Demonstrate scientifically, from the reason why a dental consultation should be guaranteed a certain temperature until the explanation of the reason for not attending patients to a clinic of high historical demand, are practical conflicts that would respond to problems affecting professionals of the sector in different latitudes.
The current world demands research that solves real problems, answers, solutions and improvements to guarantee excellence of assistance and quality of life for the patients who request our services.
